    Trap Out from a Tree

    We are lucky enough to do a couple of these each year. They are tricky and take about 4 months to complete. These bees have been inside the tree trunk for at least 6 months. We are filtering them out of the trunk and into a bee box.

    It is important to remove a bee hive correctly the first time. This bee hive had been tormented by a tenant multiple times with big bombs before we were hired to remove it. We safely removed and relocated the honeybees. Removed the honeycomb and prepared the roof for a roofing crew to come out and replace it.

    This bee hive was inside the roof for 3 months. The total weight of the hive was 30 pounds and had 25,000 bees. The hive was removed and relocated to a local beekeeper.
