This is a closeup of a live bee removal in Poway. Dan the Bee Man, owner of We Save Bees, took care of this bee rescue himself. We transfer this brood comb (bee babies) and the live bees to our bee boxes. These now live happily on a farm in Escondido.
The property manager called us out to save the bees because they were discovered by one of their employees during a smoke break, and unfortunately once discovered, they are now a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. We were able to save the bees and relocate the colony to a new home.
If bees moved in with you, call us. We can humanely relocate them for you.
Although, there is no direct mandate that bees cannot be killed. Luckily for us, we do everything by hand and do not use any chemicals, insecticides, pesticides that need to be questioned or banned, unless they don’t like the type of soap we use!

Dan The Bee Man and his crew were excellent!!!
We had a most EXTREME challenge for them: To remove a HUGE beehive from the side of a mountain, about 60 feet up, in La Quinta, CA! These bees were flying up and over into our pool/spa for … More water, causing problems with our guests who were trying to enjoy themselves on vacation, not to mention what could've happened if someone was allergic and got stung. I'm happy to report that there are no more bees around our backyard, especially in the pool/spa area.
