This is one that our owner Bee Man Dan, also dubbed Dan the Bee Man, took care of personally. This was a live bee swarm removal from a tree here in Cardiff. This was a bee swarm with a 30,000 population that we successfully rescued.

The tenant actually hired us to save the bees because their landlord would have just hired their pest control company to have the bees exterminated. Exterminating bees is a shortsighted solution as bees will move back to the same spot within a year. We relocated this bee colony and bee proofed the area to make sure the bees wouldn’t come back.

Although there is no direct mandate that bees cannot be killed.  Luckily for us, we do everything by hand and do not use any chemicals, insecticides, pesticides that need to be questioned or banned, unless they don’t like the type of soap we use!
